I regularly work with the following ensembles:
A mixed-voice choir in the heart of Cambridge, supporting the music in this ancient sacred space.
Karol has been Director of Music at St Clement's since 2014, and his tenure has seen the choir flourish and grow, whilst developing an ambitious collegiate-music standard.
St Clement's' resident orchestra, made up of both Cambridge students and residents. The orchestra has performed works by composers from Handel to Duruflé, and works to a demanding high standard, often with only a few rehearsals before each performance.
The Wren Choir, "Cambridge's Graduate Choir" is an invitation chamber choir made up of ex-choral scholars who continue to live in Cambridge. The choir frequently performs outside of the university term at college services, university events and local churches.
The Orlando Singers are an auditioned chamber choir based in Cambridge. I conducted Singers between 2016 and 2018 in a number of concerts, repertoire ranging from Renaissance madrigals and part-songs, through to challenging contemporary works, and mainstream large choral works. I maintain friendly with contact with the ensemble, with ongoing collaborations between St Clement's Choir and The Orlando Singers. Click below to read more about their current work.
I have worked with the Erasmus Chamber Choir and Ensemble on a number of select projects. The ensemble specialises in Renaissance and Baroque works, with programmes including forgotten or oft-overlooked repertoire, alongside more well-known popular composers. Find out more about them below.
